I have to confess that I don’t read many books by these authors–Stephen King and RL Stine–because their books give me nightmares.  I never have liked being scared, but I have students who do.

Of couse, you can’t have horror without zombies.  Steven Hockersmith created a prequel to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies that explains how the zombie plague returned to England and how the Bennett sisters became skilled in the martial arts.
